These suckers retail for 48.22 on Amazon! All it needed was a good scrub down and it was good as new! I never find anything worth saving that's been dubbed free on the curbside so I was pretty darn excited about this. And The Wombat is just in heaven over it...
Who would have thought that I'd pay more for the sand than the actual sandbox?!

Now, only because my favorite blog that I read everyday ran into an issue with their sandbox do I bring this up, but have you heard anything about the possible health hazards of play sand? http://www.younghouselove.com/2012/04/the-sandbox-chronicles-part-3-the-remix/
Obviously it depends on how worried/nervous you are about this kind of thing. These bloggers are pretty much a chemical free household when possible.
